John Muir Health

When we’re not well, there are Big Things that matter: how did the surgery go? Is that new drug protocol working? What does that diagnosis really mean? But the small things, too, take on momentous importance. Will the phlebotomist be gentle? Will I barf on my nurse? Will my doctor be okay with the fact that I googled my symptoms even when she told me not to?  In this direction, we focused on these little things. I provided the art direction for these spots, each one focusing on the the genuine, relatable moments that bring the healthcare-patient relationship to life, and show what it’s like to truly be heard at every level.

In addition to the broadcast spots, we also developed
a library of photography for use in John Muir Health's
printed and digital materials.
